Teaneck NJ, authorities in Teaneck arrested three residents on charges of animal cruelty after a female gray Bull Terrier was discovered in their home, showing signs of neglect and abuse.
Following a citizen tip on February 25, the Teaneck Police Department initiated an investigation at a residence on Hamilton Road. The next day, a search warrant was executed at the property.
During the search, officers found a dog confined to a metal crate in the basement, situated in a dark area. The dog was in poor physical condition, barely able to stand, and the crate was lined with a cardboard box soiled with urine and feces, according to a statement from the Teaneck Police Department.
The Bergen County Animal Control took custody of the dog, which required assistance due to its condition. The animal was transported to the Teterboro Animal Emergency Room and Shelter for medical treatment and evaluation.
The individuals residing in the home, identified as Robert Claire (40), Christopher Claire (36), and Yvonne Claire (68), were all family members. They will face charges of animal cruelty. Additionally, Robert Claire will be charged with obstructing the administration of law for allegedly resisting officers’ commands during his detainment.
Teaneck Police Chief Andrew R. McGurr urged anyone with information regarding the investigation to contact the department at 201-837-2600.

Put the offenders in a crate in a dark room and let them sit in their own filth and see how it feels. Unfortunately they’ll just get a slap on the wrist and own more animals in the future. It’s a vicious cycle.

But killing unborn babies is OK.
