Twp. of Washington NJ, Township of Washington’s Spring into Wellness 5K . The event is taking place of the roads surrounding Schelegel Lake from 9:00 am to 11:30 , Access to the area will be limited .
*5K RUN/WALK ROAD CLOSURES – On Saturday 4/15/23, the Township will be holding a 5K Run/Walk and Health Fair. The event will take place on the streets surrounding Schlegel lake (Woodfield Rd., Sussex Rd., Colonial Blvd.) starting at 9:00 am and ending at approximately 11:30 am. As a result, vehicular traffic will be limited, and street parking is prohibited along the race route during the event. No through traffic will be granted into the course route. Residents will be granted access to and from their residences if required. We are asking for your cooperation in making this event a success and keeping everyone safe. Please exercise extreme caution if driving through the race course as there will be over 200 runners/walkers participating. The Health Fair will be held at the Bethany Community Center immediately following the race. Please contact the Police desk (201) 664-1140 if you have any questions or concerns.
