Saddle River NJ, Orange & Rockland trims trees to remove trees along their distribution lines at least every four years, and on our transmission lines every three years. We trim about 1,200 miles of our distribution system every year.

The borough of Saddle River is the next stop and beginning on or about May  29th, for approximately 4 weeks, Nelson Tree Service, under the supervision of Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. will be conducting Vegetation Management starting on West Saddle Rivber Road and East Saddle River Road  and associated side streets.

Orange and Rockland advised interference from tree limbs is the single most frequent cause of power outages, periodic tree maintenance along overhead electric distribution wires is critically important in reducing potential power outages.
