Electric SUV Crashes Into Front of Glen Rock Nail Salon on Maple Avenue

Glen Rock NJ, A weekend parking attempt went severely wrong in Bergen County on late Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2026, when an all-electric BMW SUV smashed directly into the front of a local nail salon on Maple Avenue in Glen Rock.
According to the Glen Rock Police Department, the driver told responding officers at the scene that they were simply “trying to park closer to the building” when the vehicle accelerated into the storefront.
Significant Building Damage Reported
Despite the heavy impact, no injuries were reported among the driver, passengers, or occupants inside the salon at the time of the collision.
The vehicle sustained minimal operational damage and was able to be driven away under its own power. However, the commercial storefront suffered extensive crash-related structural damage, destroying the exterior façade and entrance area.
