Fair Lawn NJ, A fast response by local emergency personnel prevented a major disaster on Thursday morning, August 27, 2026, when a 2-alarm fire broke out in the attic of a vacant single-family residence in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.
The incident occurred in the 200 block of Grunauer Place. Fair Lawn firefighters arrived quickly on the scene and successfully extinguished the blaze before it could spread further through the structure.
Fire Discovered Days Before Weekend Open House
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
A local real estate agent who arrived at the property shortly after emergency crews confirmed that the single-family home is currently listed for sale.
