Twp. of Washington NJ, Twp. of Washington Fire Department Chief Kevin Zitko gave a big thank you to the members of our volunteer fire department and the Police Department Dispatchers, Ambulance Corps and DPW.
I would just like to personally and publicly thank the members of our volunteer fire department who spent the night and better part of this morning responding to calls and rescuing people trapped in floodwaters some while having emergencies at their own homes. Your dedication to the residents of this town does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Thank You For Your Service.
The Washington Township Fire Department would like to thank The Washington Township Police Department, Dispatchers, Ambulance Corps and DPW for their assistance to the fire department during last nights storm/flooding. It takes an entire team to get through an historic event such as we experienced last night and this morning. Every single responder played a crucial role. We are only as strong as our weakest link and I am proud to say that we have one of the strongest chains around. Thank you again.
