Ridgewood NJ, the No. 4 Ridgewood girls soccer team toped No. 3 Watchung Hills, and advances their 1st state final. The 2-1 win at home over No. 3 Watchung Hills booked the Maroons a spot in their first-ever Group 4 championship game. Before last season, it had been almost three decades since Ridgewood won either a sectional title or a county championship. The Maroons will play No. 2 Freehold Township in the state final at 12:30 p.m. this Sunday at Kean University in the biggest game in program history.
The game is Sunday, Nov 13 at 12:30pm at Kean University in Union, NJ. A fan bus is being provided for any RHS students who wish to attend. Hope to see lots of Ridgewood fans supporting the team! Go Ridgewood!
