US Department of Justice Drops the Ball on US Election Fraud, well Maybe Not

Washington DC, Disputing President Donald Trump’s claims, Attorney General William Barr declared Tuesday the U.S. Justice Department has uncovered no evidence of widespread voter fraud that could change the outcome of the 2020 election.

Barr’s comments, in an interview with The Associated Press, contradict the concerted effort by Trump, his boss, to subvert the results of last month’s voting and block President-elect Joe Biden from taking his place in the White House.

Barr told the AP that U.S. attorneys and FBI agents have been working to follow up specific complaints and information they’ve received, but “to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”

But Catherine Herridge of CBS reported on twitter: From a DOJ spokesperson: “Some media outlets have incorrectly reported that the Department has concluded its investigation of election fraud and announced an affirmative finding of no fraud in the election. That is not what the Associated Press reported  what the Attorney General stated. The Department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible.”

The comments, drew immediate criticism from Trump attorneys.  Rudy Giuliani, Attorney for President Trump, and Jenna Ellis, Trump Campaign Senior Legal Adviser and Attorney for President Trump responded, “With all due respect to the Attorney General, there hasn’t been any semblance of a Department of Justice investigation. We have gathered ample evidence of illegal voting in at least six states, which they have not examined. We have many witnesses swearing under oath they saw crimes being committed in connection with voter fraud. As far as we know, not a single one has been interviewed by the DOJ. The Justice Department also hasn’t audited any voting machines or used their subpoena powers to determine the truth.

“Nonetheless, we will continue our pursuit of the truth through the judicial system and state legislatures, and continue toward the Constitution’s mandate and ensuring that every legal vote is counted and every illegal vote is not. Again, with the greatest respect to the Attorney General, his opinion appears to be without any knowledge or investigation of the substantial irregularities and evidence of systemic fraud.”

  1. Why don’t we just have year round voting by mail so the Democrats can continuously adjust the vote count.

  2. To the first commenter, you are probably right. Even when and if Covid is eliminated, there will now be a great deal of pressure from them to keep this vote-by-mail thing going as they will say that it was proven to be a success, so let’s keep doing it. It is a gift to them and they are not going to let thing get back to the old way.

  3. How was it proven to be a success when the Dems lost seats in the house and barely gained ground in the senate? Or do you guys solely define success by how much Trump’s ego is stoked or not?

  4. Of course it was a success for Democrats. Their agenda was to win the Presidency through targeting specific swing states with manipulating votes. Biden is a clown and would have been landslided out in normal times. They now know that they can do this again and again and apply it now to things like Congress.

  5. “How was it proven to be a success when the Dems lost seats in the house and barely gained ground in the senate?”

It was an unmitigated success – Open your eyes (or are you just throwing up a straw man?)

    It’s like anything else.
On the first attempt you don’t know if your plan will be successful, so you go after the low hanging, most beneficial rewards.
Round 1 was targeting the removal of Trump.
Much simpler, less resources – nationwide impact by targeting a small number of voting districts.

Not to worry, though, the Democrats (aka Socialists), through law changes to voting rules and unscrupulous practices, will continue to refine their corrupt ways via deception and fraud. They will refine their processes to target increasingly granular elections – US Senate, State Governors, US House of Representatives, State legislatures, etc, eventually filtering down to local government and even local government questions.

Of course this will take time… years (decades?) but the one thing we know is that the socialists are patient and play long ball. Just look at how many years they spent on taking over the education system… starting at the university level and eventually pushing down all the way to pre-school.

Once you pick up momentum and have enough people indoctrinated it becomes easier (and faster). Just look at how much acceptance and little resistance their is to the clamp down on the free exchange of ideas and speech on social media.

  6. Horrible headline.

How about – “DOJ Does It’s Job For The American People”

  7. Great comments.

    There may be hope yet.

    [Wakes up]

  8. You keep mentioning “the socialist Dems” – I suppose you will be foregoing Social Security then.

    1. i will forgo social security if you return the money I paid in ( but you have to have a job to pay in) ,and worse social generates a negative return

  9. It does generate a negative return. Particularly in the middle of the country. But I know you’ll cash the check.
