Ridgewood NJ, Valley Health System reported in a short statement on Facebook , ” We are so happy to share that our #COVID19 patient count has been on a consistent decline and that today we have fewer than a handful of patients being cared for at the hospital!”
So maybe the lockdown worked…?
No. It wasn’t the lockdown. It turned out that only a tiny fraction of people actually required hospitalization. Even in NYC where infections were off the charts, hospital admissions were low.
I don’t know what worked but the fact that senior won’t have a ceremony and my first grader won’t have a celebration with his classmates is heartbreaking. What sh!t year.
Yeah, you got screwed Deer.
My sympathies.
Overreation to a seasonal virus.

If that’s your biggest problem, your life is GREAT!
“If that’s your biggest problem, your life is GREAT!”
.
Just because something is heartbreaking DOES NOT make it “your biggest problem”.

Are you a RW graduate?
Just wondering.

I did not graduate from Ridgewood High School, but rather a smaller high school in New Jersey – one with a track record superior to that of Ridgewood High School (e.g. higher % of students accepted to Ivy League universities each year – myself included).
