Ridgewood NJ, its been far too long but it that time of year we like to pay a visit to Van Dyk’s Ice Cream. Many insist its best ice cream in Bergen County if not all of the northern new jersey area. Van Dyk’s Ice Cream is home made, old school ice cream. The Portions are large and plentiful. Van Dyk’s Ice Cream is an institution in Ridgewood .

I thought they were open later in the summer.
Certainly the most dangerous parking lot in Ridgewood. Watch your kids closely if you choose to visit this place.

They have great ice cream, great place to bring your family. Always very fresh.
Love Van Dyke’s. Gave Mike’s a try and did not like it at all (not to mention that it is VERY pricey). It’s back to Van Dyke’s for this family!

I was wondering if it is pretty natural. Like using milk that is hormone free or do they use standard milk and cream! Do they have Hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup?
