Vehicle Search in Ridgefield Yields 420 lbs of Marijuana

Ridgefield NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of LI FAN FENG (DOB: 01/13/2002; single; unemployed) of 13418 Blossom Ave, Flushing, NY on a charge of possession with intent to distribute more than 400 pounds of marijuana.  The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.

On August 11, 2022, an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force revealed that LI FAN FENG was transporting bulk marijuana which was packaged for sale through Bergen County.  During the investigation, a search of his vehicle in Ridgefield, NJ yielded approximately 420 pounds of suspected marijuana.  On the same day, FENG was arrested without incident.

LI FAN FENG was charged with first-degree possession with intent to distribute marijuana, N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(10)(a).   He appeared in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ on August 12, 2022 and was released subject to conditions.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and he would like to thank the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office for its assistance in this investigation.
