It’s not luxury when it’s located next to the very loud GSP, but you’re close to Stew Leonard’s.
The city of Paramus, with all this building of housing, all the extra residence in that town, which is now a little city is turning into a nightmare with traffic, noise, pollution, overloaded schools, the town went from farming to a city, and there is no town to go to, it’s route 17, just wonderful. It’s just a matter of time stores will have to be open seven days a week and some stores will have to be open very late or through the night to keep up. Yes I know someone’s gonna put thumbs down. It’s so awful populated
The area has become so over developed it’s sickening. Long gone are the days of the true meaning of the suburbs. I avoid 17 and 4 at all costs. That being said, now the back roads are clogged up.
I don’t know how to town mayor actually said there’s room for more housing throughout the town. How how come the schools handle it? I could see senior citizen, homes, adult, living facilities, we get it, but holy moly more building gone up by the Paramus Park Mall, not to mention Garden State Plaza, and supposedly this talks putting housing at the sports authority junction on 17 that’s been closed for about five years, they’re just trying to figure out to improve access for traffic, which is understandable . Imagine another few years with all the building that’s going on,traffic holy moly.
The politicians DON’T care. Before you know it, when they start running out of space for these mixed use monstrosities, they’ll allow builders to buy up multiple small homes and plop a mixed use or apartment/condo building right in the middle of a neighborhood zoned for one or two family homes. It’s coming. It’s just a matter of time.
There has not been a decent mayor in Paramus for years. All this new mayor does is go to grand openings and schools and smile alot,he does nothing for senior to lower their taxes or anything else worth while. My gosh when are we going to get a real mayor that actually cares about this town and the residents
