Ridgewood NJ, The Village pf Ridgewood Christmas tree pickup has begun on the west side this week. They will be on the east side next week, and will continue until they have collected all the trees. We are asking that residents get all Christmas trees to the curb by January 13th.

There should be an end date for people to take down their Christmas lights. By 2/1 all lights should be gone. Do it before the neighbors start talking.
When will my summons be mailed?
8:05 As per our Code Enforcement officer and Acting Village Manger, the Village has no jurisdiction in the code book for holiday lights. My neighbor has several trees (large 20ft+), in their front yard, entirely wrapped in holiday lights all year long. Absurd but true.
A gold star for you 8:05 and screw the neighbors.

When the come around to get the trees, can the also pick up my neighbor’s giant leaf pile that’s been in the street since November 21st?
