The Ridgewood Blog suggests that both posted answers are absolutely ridiculous, and utterly disrespectful to all nearby residents, and to any former or current Village employees who worked at that site.
Shame on Village officials for this brazen attempt at taking ZERO responsibility whatsoever for the issue of soil contamination effects.

I see the Brooks/Price house is being sold for $47k back taxes…I thought Vaggianos lent them the money to pay that off. Very sad situation for them and I hope it all works out.

No regard for Habernickel park either. I wouldn’t let my kids in there if you paid me. They need to test the entire park. That park was filled and filled to become level. Where did the fill come from? And the barn being knocked down. I mean someone needs to test test test.

Is this mayor and council and management on drugs? What do you mean that there’s no employees or residence that live close to site have any concerns? They haven’t reached out to all the neighbors and employees they are full of shit no backbone they have ice in their veins, terrible.

Well, if any resident or employee has a concern, who would they talk to who’s in charge? Of this. What game are they playing. We think they should have a meeting on this, do they have a list of employees and homeowners that may be infected, no one knows what is going to happen down the road. This needs to be addressed. And documented.

How can the mayor or the council or the manager say that none of the employees have any concerns. I have not been approached and asked, nobody called me, I did not receive a letter who comes up with this bullshit and do they have a proper list, exactly who was working at that location. Very curious.
They really should have all employees past and present that were working at that location and have a meeting recording their health.
now it makes sense to me why they propped up the edge of 17th northbound with burms high up to hide whatever is goin on over there.
During our investigation with speaking with recently retirees no one from the village has called them or sent a letter to them. No one at all, reached out to inform them regarding the contaminated soil. that they might have been contaminated. So now if the mayor manager council health department reached out to Village employees who did they speak to .was it just a word-of-mouth ,was it verbal to someone, no one stating that they were contacted, which is it
