Ridgewood NJ, according to the Ridgewood School system, beginning Monday evening, May 20th, the Village of Ridgewood will begin the milling and paving of several roads throughout the Village. This work may result in delays, possible detours, or road closures. The work will begin Monday, May 20th at 7:30 PM and is expected to conclude by Friday, May 24th at 6:00 AM.
Roads affected by this work include:

Chestnut Street (Douglas Place to end and Franklin Avenue to E.R.A.)

Cottage Place (Franklin Avenue to E.R.A.)

N. Walnut Street (Franklin Avenue to E.R.A.)

Dayton Street (Prospect Street to S. Walnut Street)

Please plan additional time to make it to school and at pickup time to ensure a safe and timely arrival and departure.
There is a Ridgewood Board of Education Meeting on Monday night, starting at 7:00 PM. The Village has graciously agreed to delay the paving of Chestnut Street near the Ed Center until 11:00 PM that evening, but please use caution when both arriving to and leaving from the meeting.
