There will be no sanitation, recycling or yard waste collection on that day, and the Recycling Center will also be closed. Please check your Village Calendar for the adjusted garbage, recycling and yard waste collection dates, due to the holiday.

Because It is federal holiday and being observed today. All village services are closed including no postal service and many companies are also closed as it officially falls on Sat. We thank our veterans for their service keeping us safe!! Bless us all.
They should be working Saturday to pick up the leaves , let’s see if that happens, or are they going to have a excuse, there’s no overtime for that. Only overtime for police and fire.

Nope that’s our life, we love leaves, the village just needs to learn how to pick them up. The program sucks.. we don’t know who the hell is running to Dpw nowadays, but it was definitely run better years back. We don’t see any supervision hours on the roads with the crews. we are witnessing everything what happened?
Just pick up the damn leaves to come enough already. That’s why there was talk of bringing in Dpw consultant.
