Ridgewood NJ, after recent flooding residents raised concerns over the Christmas tree drop-off at Graydon Pool , flood prone area .
With anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain in the forecast. Rain may cause minor to moderate flash flooding in low lying areas of the Village.
Winds will be anywhere from 15-25 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph. Winds may cause down tree limbs, possibly resulting in power outages.
The Village however was on their game , the trees were being shredded as quickly as they were dropped off. Some times its the little things that count and just add up.

Wow! A positive comment about the Village? Way to go RB!
I love the photo op, all the trees are not just brought for that location, stop the bullshit this picture is showing a few trees. The village gets thousands of trees, 95% of them are brought to Lakeview Drive please stop. Another smokescreen. I don’t know who’s taking these pictures take a ride down to Lakeview Drive compost site and you will see yard waste leaves Christmas trees brush wood yesterday when I was walking my dog that’s what I seen.
That’s perfect, who came up with dumping trees in a flood zone. Not that bright. Just a mazing.
It says “old file photo.” Not taken now.
The tree in town is sitting there with lights on it. Either keep lighting it at night or take it down.
