Westwood NJ, on behalf of Westwood Police Department Chief Michael R. Pontillo and all of the members of the Westwood Police Department, we would like to feature an “employee spotlight” which highlights some of the summer work of SLEO III Greg Stalb, who works providing security for Berkeley Elementary School.
Greg can often be seen coaching baseball for the 14U Hillsdale Hawks, which recently competed in the Little League World Series. Greg was recently seen coaching first base in support of his two sons, Max and Sam, who played on the team. They are both 14 years old, 6ft 4 inches tall and have had the benefit of father coaching since the young age of 7. As Greg describes it, they stopped watching Sesame Street once they discovered the MLB Channel. They both pitch, Max is a center fielder and Sam is a first baseman.
Great work Greg and congratulations to you and your sons on their recent accomplishments with 14U Hillsdale Hawks Baseball Team. Thank you to the coaches, Chris Kirkby, Frank Gravina and Greg Stalb for guiding these young men to achieve success both on and off the field. At the conclusion of the season, the team was the District 4 Champs, Section 1 Champs, New Jersey Champs, the East Region Champs and finished 3rd overall in the United States.
That is a summer to be proud of!! Great job Greg and we look forward to seeing you in a couple weeks when we are back to school!!
