Ridgewood NJ, WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST SATURDAY. This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey and southeast New York. A coastal storm also has potential to bring significant snowfall, mainly from late day Monday into Tuesday.
Snow expected into Saturday Moring . Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches. Highest north and west of I-84 and the higher elevations of Orange County NY. Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey and southeast New York. Until 10 AM EST Saturday. Plan on slippery road conditions. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
SNOW STORM ORDINANCES AND LAWS:
-No Overnight parking is allowed within the Village of Ridgewood tonight. Cars on the street will be ticketed and towed.
– Walkways must be cleared no later than 24hours after the end of snowfall.
-All vehicles traveling on the roadways must be clear of snow and ice. Including the roofs of the vehicle (NJSA 39:4-77.1)
-Please refrain from blowing /shoveling snow back into the roadway.
