Woodcliff Lake NJ, following an unexpected announcement, another renowned hotel in northern New Jersey is set to close its doors this month. The Hilton located in Woodcliff Lake revealed its impending closure before February draws to a close.

Managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, the Hilton Woodcliff Lake will cease operations on February 26. The sudden closure has caught many off guard, particularly individuals who had made bookings for various events, such as the Mahwah High School junior prom.

Among those affected are Dead Man’s Curve, who had secured the venue for their Wild Hot Rod Weekend, a summer car show. Despite the setback, the group remains proactive, exploring alternative locations and awaiting formal communication from potential venues to determine the most suitable option.

This closure follows the recent shuttering of the Sheraton Crossroads in Mahwah back in December. State Senator Holly Schepisi revealed that the Sheraton building was auctioned off to Zygi Wilf, owner of the Vikings, with plans indicating its transformation into housing. Schepisi attributed the closures, in part, to the adverse effects of the pandemic and the departure of corporate headquarters from Bergen County to more affordable regions, leading to conversions into residential spaces.

Pyramid Global has committed to assisting affected employees in securing new opportunities, whether with the buyer, other hotels, or local businesses. Additionally, the hotel pledges to provide full refunds to those impacted by its closure.

  1. We were there in October for a wedding.

  2. Little by little the Garden State is eroding for good. Let’s provide the illegals the accommodations they deserve. Who else will live on the countless buildings that are popping up everywhere?

  3. Another closing! Holly Schepisi and other politicians need to stop saying pandemic! It’s NJ, weak Republicans, and every Democrat have destroyed NJ! It’s unaffordable for the residents as well as businesses. Uneducated voters, woke crap, stupid suburban women. (Before you vote favoring abortion, watch an actual one taking place, then decide. Guess why PBS and cable will not show a video?) Note: there’s exceptions rape…

    1. We’re done man. No hope. The level of ignorance of the “educated” is shocking. They have been hypnotized.

  4. I guess none of the State’s legislators ever read those articles about NJ being one of the worst to do business in.

    1. Because it’s VERY good for THEM to do business in………

  5. The woodcliff lake hilton, the mahwah sheraton..
Here’s a thought, businesses are FLEEING the state of NJ for more tax-friendly venues.
Try to get that through to the morons in Trenton (mostly Democrats from S=hole cities) who probably couldnt balance their own checking accounts or pay more than their credit card minimum payment

  6. Probably didn’t help that KPMG moved their training to Florida. They used to do a bunch of business with the Hilton..

    1. You hit the nail on the head. Although there are still 2000 employees in the WCL/Montvale area.

  7. Sad to see the Hilton go Bar Mitzvahs, Anniversaries, Weddings, Junior and Senior proms were held there BMW, Ingersoll-Rand, Mercedes and KPMG events all gone now Lots of spillover business from Rockland
Wish we could turn Montvale/Woodcliff Lake back to the farmers! What’s next ?Atlantic ocean turns to fresh water – there goes the shore!!

    1. Annette, I totally agree with you. I miss the farms in Montvale and Woodcliff Lake. Politicians are allowing these big developers to come in and ruin so many nice things in our area. Tired of seeing big houses and multi-storied buildings taking over the landscape. All in the name of so-called progress. More like greed.

      1. No it’s not just pure greed. it is part of the global political agenda. WEF 2030 program to which our politicians bow to, clearly states what is expected to happen to suburbs and middle class and 15 min cities and sustainable urbanization and all that bs. But nobody pays attention and thinks it is a big conspiracy.

  8. James, I hope you can announce this as a separate topic.
A bill will be voted in the NJ state senate on Monday about overhauling the Fair Share Housing act in a way that will give developers almost unlimited power to build wherever they want stripping local control over housing decisions. The bill is A4/S50.
More info on the NJ state website.

    1. True. Stated goal of Gov Murphy is to make more housing affordable. Reality is building developers dream to build apartments everywhere they want regardless of local zoning.
