Ridgewood NJ, The Valley Hospital has been ranked as one of the best 115 hospitals in the United States on Money.com’s Best Hospitals of 2024 list. There are more than 6,000 hospitals in the United States. The Valley Hospital is one of only three hospitals in New Jersey to receive this recognition.

“We are honored to be listed as one of only three hospitals in New Jersey to make the best hospitals list,” said Robert Brenner, MD, MMM, FACHE, President of Valley Health System. “This shows how Valley works hard to provide high-quality care to our patients. We look forward to continuing this level of care at our state-of-the-art hospital in Paramus, set to open on April 14.”

Money.com looked at more than 13,500 data points to rank facilities by safety records, patient satisfaction, the experience of the hospitals’ doctors and other practitioners, and mortality rates. The extent to which the cost of care matches the hospital’s publicly listed prices was also considered.

  1. Congratulations Valley Hospital! By the way
Where is Hackensack Meridian Hospital Pascack Valley Westwood? Nowhere! They’re horrible! A death wish if you’re admitted!

  2. Extremely poor emergency room care, a culture of protecting doctors rather than patients, abusive behaviors amongst employees, inadequate nurse to patient ratios – an award does not change or wash away these deep seated Valley Hospital shortcomings. On the surface things may seem great, but serious problems like these never stay hidden. Hopefully the new hospital building will come with new practices, policies, and procedures- the patients and employees deserve it.
