A station employee told responding officers that the man entered the gas station, pointed toward the cash register and demanded the cash.
Police said the suspect, described as a white man, approximately 5-foot-6, with a stocky build and brown hair immediately ran off with the money.
The suspect kept his right hand concealed in his jacket pocket, as though he might have had a weapon, police said , but no weapons were displayed.
Additionally, the suspect was described as wearing a white baseball cap with a small black logo, sunglasses, a black cloth mask with marijuana leaves printed on it, a black V-neck T-shirt, a black jacket with a hood, black pants, and black and white sneakers.
The suspect is still at large and police are asking that anyone with information on him or his vehicle, a red Hyundai Veloster, contact the detective bureau at 201-891-2121 or detectives@wyckoffpolice.org.
