Ridgewood NJ, The Social Service Association of Ridgewood and Vicinity is once again making Thanksgiving happen for neighbors that are struggling. This year, the Angele Ekert Memorial Thanksgiving Food Drive is serving 104 families thanks to generous donations and volunteer assistance from local schools, houses of worship, businesses and individuals.

Social Service Association of Ridgewood and Vicinity (SSA) is a food security organization. We are the faces behind the Red Door Food Pantry at the Ridgewood Train Station. Since 1913, we’ve been a beacon of hope and help to our neighbors facing hardship, providing a community safety net.
