The Rotary Club of Ridgewood AM would like to make the community aware of the following…..
Ask Umbrella is now coordinating grocery delivery and medication pick up for all seniors in Bergen county (no membership needed). They want to make sure that everyone is able to get the supplies they need during this difficult time.
People 60 and over can either fill out the form here or call at 973-200-4499 (M-F 9am-6pm) to place an order. They can take a high volume of requests and mobilize helpers to fulfill them quickly (while minimizing contact to support social distancing). They can place online orders for non-digital seniors or if wait times are too long, they can match them with a local volunteer who can grocery shop on their behalf. They are taking a small processing fee of $6 per order to cover call center costs, but that’s it. They have put together a page about how we can help here: https://www.askumbrella.com/covid-response
