Oak Ridge, Tennessee – Ridgewood won its fifth national rowing title in five years and took home five medals overall at the 2026 Scholastic Rowing Association of America regatta this past weekend. And for the second year in a row, the team also topped the entire field for the most sculling event podium finishes — one gold, two silver, and two bronze — and ranked second among all schools for total medals won, coming just behind a sweeping program from the Midwest that took home six medals.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Demonstrating the unwavering strength of local tradition, residents and officials gathered on Monday morning to observe the Village of Ridgewood’s 107th consecutive Memorial Day Service.

Organized by the Ridgewood American Legion Post 53, the solemn ceremony moved indoors to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church due to early morning rain. The service served as a powerful tribute to the brave men and women from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States—specifically honoring the 114 Ridgewood residents who never returned home.

According to a comprehensive data analysis by Compare the Market, 48 New Jersey hospitals have average emergency room wait times that exceed the national average. The study reviewed 2,095 hospitals across the United States using publicly available historical performance data compiled from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reporting datasets via HospitalStats.org. Nationally, the benchmark average emergency room wait time sits at 2 hours and 42 minutes. Unfortunately for Garden State residents, a vast majority of local facilities fail to meet that standard.
