Lodi NJ, Bergen County has announced exciting plans for Garibaldi Ave Park in Lodi thanks to funding from the Open Space Trust Fund. According to Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Borough of Lodi was awarded $121,142 to support a major revitalization project for the park.
The improvements will include the installation of new playground equipment, parking and electrical upgrades, and ADA-accessible ramps to ensure the park is inclusive for all visitors. Additionally, veteran memorial monuments will be installed to honor those who served.
“The Open Space Trust Fund is an invaluable tool, allowing the County of Bergen to promote sustainability and preserve open space for future generations,” said Tedesco. “We are proud to support our municipalities through these grants and look forward to seeing the completion of many of these projects in the years to come.”
