Closter NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information:
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Closter Police Department are investigating a single vehicle crash involving a Tesla Model X with five occupants that occurred on Durie Avenue in Closter, NJ on Friday, December 1, 2023, at approximately 6:23 p.m. The four passengers in the vehicle were transported to area hospitals, and one of the passengers sustained serious bodily injuries.
The investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Closter Police Department under the direction of Chief John McTigue. No additional information is available at this time.
