No we the people love to voice Our opinion it’s great to have this blog. As we all now know the politicians and some of the management team Do not like the blog because they cannot control it. Oh well. Too damn bad. They don’t like it That we have our eyeballs on them.
Good thing the Ridgewood Blog is not an App on Apple or Android or it would be banned.

Forums for digital congregation that daily display integrity and respect for First Amendment rights are sadly becoming rare in the United States. The ones that are still hanging in there, still remaining true to their founding principals, still swinging the bat in eager emulation of the pre-strikeout version of “Mighty Casey”, are doing so in the face of growing intolerance and thuggish intimidation.
In many cases, surviving examples of the above-described rara avís are known to be suffering politically-driven attacks led by brutal people and/or freedom-hating organizations that, if not effectively or promptly defended against, could spell their doom soon as well. Such entities, that is, the self-appointed purgers, the ones responsible fir carrying out this political “othering”, are increasingly leaving little to the imagination in terms of their particular brand of nihilist, anarchic, collectivist, eugenicist, or satanic ideology. We also typically need no longer worry about spending much time or exerting much effort divining exactly whom they feel no longer merit basic respect, accommodation, space on the public stage, or, in some egregious cases, the right even to continue drawing from the available supply of breatheable oxygen.
Putting aside for the moment the much higher likelihood that it is the year-in, year-out quality of TheRidgewoodBlog.net, combined with the selfless hard work PJ has put in over the many years in support of this forum’s admirable founding principals, that is driving the increase in traffic he’s experiencing, one must also leave open the possibility that it is at least partially due to the steeply growing ranks of the digitally homeless and their desire to find new forums to replace the ones they’ve either decided to abandon, been abandoned by, or saw vanish out from beneath their virtual feet.
Not that any regular readers or contributors to this forum need to be told this, but if/when federal executive power shifts to a POTUS 46 on 1/20/2021, the appetite the above-mentioned bad actors have for snuffing out the light of liberty will only increase in size. Combine this with another similar bump in traffic numbers similar to what was just seen, and TheRidgewoodBlog.net will likely become too big to continue flying under the radar. That’s when he’ll really need support from amen and awomen [sic] of good will.
