Dumont NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 35-year-old JONATHAN E. RODRIGUEZ of Englewood, NJ on charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Held at Saint Mary’s Church in Dumont (while the auditorium renovations continued), the festivities began with Caccini’s “Ave Maria,” an anticipated annual staple. Concertmaster Faith Youn (’23) played the violin solo as the chorus processed up the aisle, candles in hand.

Dumont NJ, a person was hit and killed by a CSX freight train Wednesday evening, on the railroad tracks. The victim was a 29-year-old Bergenfield man who was fatally struck when a southbound CSX train hit him on Colombia Avenue near the West Madison Avenue crossing in Dumont around 11:40 p.m., according to Dumont police.

79 Year Old Dumont Woman Dies After Being Hit with a Fire Poker

Dumont NJ, according to Dumont Police they received a 911 call reporting the alleged fatal assault at 11:53 p.m. Saturday. Police then responded to 124 New Milford Ave., a single family home across the street from Dumont High School, where they found the 79-year-old female victim, who was later pronounced dead at Hackensack University Medical Center. The 30-year-old male was taken into custody.
