Franklin Lakes NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of ALLEN PEREZ (DOB: 10/13/1993; single; automotive technician) of 620 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. The arrest was a result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Franklin Lakes Police Department under the direction of Chief Carmine Pezzuti.

The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, the Oakland Police Department under the direction of Chief Keith Sanzari, and the Franklin Lakes Police Department under the direction of Chief Carmine Pezzuti.

FDA Sends Warning on False Positive COVID Test Results

Franklin Lakes NJ, The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the following actions taken in its ongoing response effort to the COVID-19 pandemic. A Letter to Clinical Laboratory Staff and Health Care Providers alerting them of an increased risk of a false positive result with BD SARS-CoV-2 Reagents for the BD Max System test.

In one study, the manufacturer found approximately three percent (3%) of results were false positive results. The FDA is working with Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) to resolve this issue and will continue to keep clinical laboratory staff, health care providers, manufacturers, and the public informed for new or additional information.

Statement on the Fire at Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Franklin Lakes

Our entire Archdiocese is saddened by a devastating fire that completely destroyed the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Franklin Lakes during the early hours of Wednesday, December 11.

A person of interest is in custody and police authorities will release an official press statement today regarding the arrest.
