SCRANTON PA, The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Nicholas Dombek, age 53, of Thornhurst, Pennsylvania, Damien Boland, age 47, of Moscow, Pennsylvania, Alfred Atsus, age 47, of Covington Township, Pennsylvania, and Joseph Atsus, age 48, of Roaring Brook, Pennsylvania were indicted by a federal grand jury for conspiracy to commit theft of major artwork, concealment or disposal of objects of cultural heritage, and interstate transportation of stolen property. All four men were also charged with substantive counts of theft of major artwork and the concealment or disposal of objects of cultural heritage. Dombek was further charged with a substantive count of interstate transportation of stolen property.

Montville NJ,representatives of Morristown Medical Center’s Stroke Program and Emergency Department teams, as well as Atlantic Mobile Health, which includes Atlantic Ambulance, presented Trooper Kristian Bautista and Montville EMTs Jaclyn D’Amico and James High with the “Golden Brain” Award. The award refers to the “golden hours” in which it is crucial for stroke patients to receive care, in order to save lives or preserve neurological function. Trooper Bautista, and EMTs D’Amico and High are credited with saving the life of Warren Hartwick, who suffered a stroke while driving a box truck, on Interstate 287 on May 9, 2022.
Elmwood Park Nj, Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin, Colonel Patrick J. Callahan, and Interim Director Derek Nececkas today announced charges against 14 individuals in the takedown of alleged chop shop operations linked to the theft of more than 35 vehicles throughout the state. The charges are the result of a five-month investigation conducted by the New Jersey State Police (NJSP), with assistance from the Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ), Passaic County Sheriff’s Office, the Paterson Police Department, and other federal, county, and local law enforcement agencies.
Sayreville NJ, an arrest has been made in the killing of Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour. The Middlesex County African American Republican councilwoman was shot and killed in her car on Samuel Circle in Sayreville, by someone she knew from church.

The Archdiocese and NJRC signed a memorandum of understanding to acknowledge the collaborative relationship and coordinate and integrate services and care for adults with substance use disorders.
