Ramsey NJ, Multiple ambulances were dispatched to aid the victims of a two (2) vehicle, early Saturday evening, 07/10, crash on Route 17 southbound near Franklin Turnpike, Ramsey. Both vehicles were heavily damaged and removed from the scene by separate flatbed tow trucks. Ramsey Police, Ramsey EMS, Ramsey Rescue, and Ramsey Fire department responded to the incident. Ramsey Police implemented a full closure of Route 17 southbound immediately following the crash, then opened a single travel lane after all victims and one (1) vehicle were removed from the highway. The highway was completely re-opened within 60 minutes of patrol officers’ arrival at the scene.

Ramsey NJ, on Friday, May 21st at 09:41am, the Ramsey Police Department was dispatched to a residence on Swan St. The suspects observed by the nanny were described as two dark skinned males wearing all black clothing. The males were observed walking out of the house with a safe and entering a black vehicle. There were NO interactions between the suspects and the nanny. No verbal or physical threats were made. No forced entry into the house. The suspects simply walked past the nanny with the safe in hand.
The investigation is ongoing at this time. If anyone has any information about the above mentioned incident, please contact the Ramsey Police Department at 201-327-2400 and ask to speak with the detective bureau.
