SMITHTOWN,  NY, While many people are familiar with the many U.S. soldiers serving in the Middle East, they are not aware of the dogs that often serve alongside them. Some of the dogs serve in official positions helping the military effort, while others are strays that the soldiers become attached to. Rather than having to leave those dogs behind, two U.S. soldiers will be adopting the dogs they have formed bonds with. The dogs will be transported from the military zone in the Middle East where they are stationed, and will be waiting for them upon their return back to the States, thanks to the work of Guardians of Rescue.

“We realize how important these dogs are to the health and well being of the soldiers who have been caring for them and working alongside of them,” explains Robert Misseri, president of Guardians of Rescue. “We are excited that we will be keeping these two dogs with the men who mean so much to them and vice versa. It’s a small gesture that we do for our soldiers that has a big impact.”

The two soldiers, both in the Army, who will be adopting the dogs are Sergeant Christian Cox and Specialist Michael Fenton. They contacted Guardians of Rescue, asking for assistance to help them get the dogs safely back to the U.S. Cox will be adopting Ghost, a stray dog that he has formed a bond with, while Fenton will be adopting Amigo, a bomb detection dog that was just retired of his duties.

The plans are currently under way for Guardians of Rescue to fly to where the two soldiers are stationed in the Middle East, and bring the two dogs, Amigo and Ghost, to Pennsylvania, where they will be placed with the soldiers’ families and wait for the return of the soldiers themselves. Both dogs are currently being cared for by the soldiers, and the organization is working as quickly as possible to bring them safely to the U.S. In addition, Guardians of Rescue is sending one of their retired military members to escort and ensure the dogs have safe passage to America.

“We are very honored to be helping the military and these dogs,” adds Misseri. “But we need your support to accomplish our goal of raising $10,000 – which is the funds required to get the dogs out of the Middle East and into their forever homes in America.”

Guardians of Rescue provides assistance to animals out on the streets, helping to rescue them, provide medical care, food and shelter, and find foster-home placements.. They are also instrumental in helping military members with their pets, and to provide service dogs to veterans suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Rigging the Election – Video III: Creamer Confirms Hillary Clinton Was PERSONALLY Involved

James_OKeefe_39

Project Veritas Action has released the third video in a multi-part series that is sending shockwaves through the DNC and the Clinton campaign. The first video explained the dark secrets and the hidden connections and organizations the Clinton campaign uses to incite violence at Trump rallies. The second video exposed a diabolical step-by-step voter fraud strategy discussed by top Democratic operatives and showed one key operative admitting that the Democrats have been rigging elections for fifty years. This latest video takes this investigation even further.

Part III of the undercover Project Veritas Action investigation dives further into the back room dealings of Democratic politics. It exposes prohibited communications between Hillary Clinton’s campaign, the DNC and the non-profit organization Americans United for Change. And, it’s all disguised as a duck. In this video, several Project Veritas Action undercover journalists catch Democracy Partners founder directly.

‘Internet of Things’ excitement marred by vulnerability to hacking attacks

education concept - students looking into phones and tablet pc a

by: Hannah Kuchler in San Francisco

Default passwords on devices from the digital video recorder in your living room to the security camera in your office threaten the stability of the internet, as hackers build vast networks of “Internet of Things” devices to bombard websites with traffic.

The attack on Dyn, a domain name service provider, that disrupted access to high-profile sites such as Twitter, Spotify and theNew York Times on Friday, highlighted the risks posed by the billions of devices connected to the internet with little or no cyber security protections. Unidentified hackers took over tens of millions of devices using malicious software called Mirai, making the attack much more powerful and harder to defend against than the average distributed denial of service attack.

In a rush of excitement about the prospect of controlling houses and office buildings from smartphones — changing the temperature or detecting burglars using cameras — many manufacturers with little experience of cyber security have connected devices to the internet.

Regulators have not yet created clear rules on how they should be protected and even businesses are finding well meaning suppliers or facilities managers have accidentally created holes in their corporate networks by adding connected devices.

Sources: 4 Guttenberg DPW workers caught stealing from parking meters

October 13, 2016 – News, North Bergen/Guttenberg – Written by John Heinis – 5 comments

Four Guttenberg Department of Public Works employees, including the superintendent, were arrested on Tuesday for their roles in a scheme to steal money out of parking meters, multiple sources told Hudson County View.

Guttenberg DPW Superintendent Kenneth DeGrushe, and his employees Scott O’Connor, Ronald Oriolo were all arrested by the Guttenberg Police Department on Tuesday for repeatedly stealing from parking meters, according to sources with knowledge of the situation who were not authorized to speak on the matter.

A fourth arrest was also made, but the employee’s name could not be disclosed due to an ongoing personnel matter.

Reader says The Ridgewood Parking Garage is the Trojan Horse

Hudson Street Parking Garage

As I have said here several times: The village, in the voice of the Village Manager, admitted on April 6, 2016 that we do not have a parking crisis, we have a parking surplus, we have more spots than we have demand for: https://youtu.be/iyufI5C3gKU?t=1h14m

So we know from the facts any garage is all about high density housing led by the local developer. Without it, the over development of Ridgewood cannot happen by this developer and his cohorts who own property at key intersections. Without over development the property owners and this local developer, who paid a lot for the land, cannot make money. They need to develop the lots past what parking on the property supports to maximize rental revenue. The former mayor, former village manager and the local developer lie about Brogan and Ken Smith parking spaces needing to be replaced, spots that are not a part of the village’s parking inventory. The former mayor and former village manager let the Hudson Street lot fall into disrepair, then said in a video paid for with tax dollars, that neglect was a main reason to build a $12m garage.

The garage is the Trojan Horse. The village admits, we don’t need more parking, we don’t even utilize what we have. Higher density, higher congestion, higher fees, and easier profits for the local developer paid for with tax dollars.

When the now ex-village manager says in a propaganda video we have a parking crisis, but her own analysis says we have a surplus, we know there is no crisis.

WOW! Plato’s ‘Tyranny’ Sounds EXACTLY LIKE America Today!

Outrage In Missouri Town After Police Shooting Of 18-Yr-Old Man

This will give you chills.
Daniel Lattier | September 27, 2016

Philosopher George Santayana’s line has become cliché, but it’s so damn true: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Well, perhaps if more Americans today read Plato (like they used to), then our country wouldn’t be repeating the same mistakes he warned us about 2,400 years ago.

In Book VIII of his Republic, Plato uses a fictitious conversation between his teacher Socrates and Adeimantus to explain howdemocracies—when they become too radical—devolve into tyrannies.

I have included M. James Ziccardi’s apt summary of this conversation below. The parallels between the “tyranny” Plato describes and America today are chilling:
