Given the coronavirus quarantine, I’m working from home and have noticed some very inconsiderate behavior from *some* dog owners.

Case in point: the other day, a woman and her young son allowed their large dog to urinate and poop on our front yard (for which I pay thousands of dollars each season to professionally maintain and landscape). So, what is a concerned citizen to do?”

NJ Transit Special Essential Service Bus Schedule Begins Monday, April 20

Ridgewood NJ, Beginning Monday, April 20, NJ TRANSIT will add extra trips to certain bus routes, creating a modified service level to support essential travel and adding capacity to further help social distancing on board buses to comply with Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 125. Ridgewood NJ, according to Village of Ridgewood Mayor Ramon Hache  this is the latest update on coronavirus cases in Ridgewood  is as follows :

The most recent numbers in RIDGEWOOD are as follows:

Positive: 231
Pending: 0
Negative: 299
Deaths: 25
BERGEN COUNTY:
Positive: 12,163
Deaths: 741

We recently spoke with 67 residents who had tested positive for COVID-19. Of the 67, there were 49 who felt they had recovered while 18 were still experiencing symptoms. 26 reported that one or more of their family members also began experiencing symptoms.

Please continue to do your part in working together to contain and prevent the spread of the virus by adhering to proper social distancing practices, washing hands frequently for at least 20 seconds, and staying home especially if you feel sick. Be well, stay safe, and encourage others to do the same.

In Plainview, musical concerts and festivals are not rare things. Quite likely, you have been to at least a few of them, if not more. What emotions or thoughts do you carry when you come back home? Trout Season is Open

Ridgewood NJ, Trout season is open and most waters have received their full allotment of trout. All regulations remain in effect except there will be NO IN-SEASON CLOSURES on the 14 major streams where they normally would be in effect. State Wildlife Management Areas remain open except for the Round Valley Reservoir boat ramp. Help keep WMAs and other areas open by observing proper social distancing!
