Ridgewood NJ, the National weather service has issued a wind advisory for today till 4pm . The WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON . Expect Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. For portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut and southeast New York. .Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Due to snow melt and recent rainfall some tree root systems may be somewhat compromised potentially leading to some uprooted trees.
The wind was howling incredibly last night (Mon. 3/1)–with March coming in like a roaring lion. I kept wondering if trees were falling, as the weather forecast warned might happen after all that rain. Any reports of that?
