Ridgewood NJ, the National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm warning. Tropical Storm Elsa  for Southeast New York, Northeast New Jersey, and Southern Connecticut .

TROPICAL STORM ELSA EXPECTED TO IMPACT THE AREA LATE TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY. The Tropical Storm Watch has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm Warning for Northeast Suffolk, Northern New London, Northwest Suffolk, Southeast Suffolk, Southern Middlesex, Southern Nassau, Southern New Haven, Southern New London, and Southwest Suffolk .

Expect Winds 15 to 25 mph with Gusts up to 50 mph until 4pm Today

Ridgewood NJ, the National weather service has issued a wind advisory for today till 4pm . The WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON . Expect Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.  For portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut and southeast New York.  .Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Due to snow melt and recent rainfall some tree root systems may be somewhat compromised potentially leading to some uprooted trees.

Ridgewood NJ, the National Weather Services has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 am Thursday to 7 pm Friday  .Portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut and southeast New York . Snow expected. Snowfall accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected Thursday, with total snowfall accumulations of 5 to 9 inches by the end of the event on Friday.
