Ridgewood NJ, Feed the Frontlines, a collaborative initiative supported by the Healthbarn Foundation, the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce, and the Bergen County Food Security Task Force, will soon be able to start another phase of operation thanks to the receipt of a new $1 million NJEDA grant to the Healthbarn Foundation! This is an incredible program where local restaurants provide nutritious hot meals to community pantries across Bergen County. This program is truly one of the best examples of county government, non-profit organizations, and small business teaming up to tackle an important issue in our community. To date, over 300,000 meals have been delivered pantries, providing the dignity of a hot meal from a local restaurant to families in need.
