Ridgewood NJ, former Ridgewood High School star Younghoe Koo became one of the league’s top kickers during his three-year run with the Atlanta Falcons. Koo and the Falcons have agreed to terms on a five-year extension worth $24.25 million, $11.5 million of which is guaranteed. He is now the second-highest paid kicker in the National Football league, trailing only Baltimore Ravens’ Justin Tucker.
In three years with the Falcons , Koo made 92.1 percent of his field goal attempts, including 13 from 50-plus yards downfield. He also has gone 87 of 91 in points after attempts, giving him a success rate of 94.5 percent.
The 2020 season was a record year for Koo as he was named to his first Pro Bowl. He became the NFL’s leading scorer in Week 13. For the campaign, Koo had made 32 of 33 field goals and 23 extra points, good enough for 119 points scored for the Falcons.

He was raised in Ridgewood… Is he going to redistribute all of his wealth in a show of equity with those who are oppressed by the racist NFL ???
This is just a DUMB comment. We should be happy for him and the success that he has achieved.
What’s dumb is teaching RW kids all about equity and the virtues of communism and the evils of capitalism.
Why are we teaching this crap if we don’t hold graduates to this standard?
Because it is all wrong and everybody – including those teaching it – know it.
If you are a true believe, why can’t we celebrate his success and insist he redistribute his wealth?

Congrats Younghoe! The kid was among the top scorers in the NFL. He deserves every cent he can negotiate for.
