Ridgewood NJ, on Friday evening, September 13th, a black Toyota Prius crashed through a chain-link fence, over a retaining wall, and came to rest against the rear of a Ridgewood restaurant. Miraculously, no one was injured in the incident, including the vehicle’s driver and the restaurant’s occupants.
Despite the dramatic nature of the crash, there was little to no damage reported to the restaurant building itself. Ridgewood Police Department patrol officers responded to the scene and conducted a thorough safety inspection of the vehicle before allowing the driver to leave.
A flatbed tow truck was called to winch the Prius from its precarious position. Ridgewood Fire Department firefighters also responded to assist in ensuring the safety of the scene.
Following the inspection and removal of the car, the vehicle’s owner was permitted to drive it away, bringing a safe conclusion to the unusual incident.

So I can just crash into stuff around town and drive off no harm, no foul? Good to know.
It’s a Friday the 13th special
What is the big secret not providing restaurant name
No free advertising.
Not cool. Ridgewood restaurants need all the help they can get.
Especially if you couldn’t get a reservation.
It didn’t exactly drive “into” the restaurant. Fox-like clickbait.
