Ridgewood NJ, Village Manager Keith Kazmark emphatically stated that Healthbarn USA will not have free access to the proposed covered pavilion at Habernickel Park. Green Acres laws prohibit such an arrangement said Kazmark. His remarks were made during a Wednesday, March 6th Village Council Work Session. The Village Manager said that in all likelihood, if Healthbarn USA should desire to use the planned facility, the terms of their existing lease with the Village will be renegotiated.

Because no one will monitor it, she will make the public uncomfortable for being there and we will all be paying for her success. She doesn’t follow her lease now. And now we are giving her more public property to take over
Ms. Bigos also said that people who book it need to pay just like fields in the master library system that the BOE and village will be using. someone said something like we have to make sure that she cannot just go in and book it up fully even if she has to pay, which she should. This is being paid for by tax dollars and she already has a sweetheart deal. I think Evan Weitz stated that he hoped she would stay there for years and years and she probably will. $3,900 a month and she is making bank!

Evan Weitz is just Paulie’s puppet and yet another bad actor in this musical we call Ridgewood politics. They have an agenda to only benefit their special interests which are CBD and sports, not safety and other quality of life necessities and improvements to benefit the overall community. Paul, Pam, Evan and especially Siobahn, are bad actors in this and just like the Taylor Swift song it is covert narcissism disguised as altruism.

The village DOES NOT follow the green acres laws. The garden is supposed to be for the public but it is ONLY for the businesses use. Stacy antine making full profit off of tax payers dollars
This should be raised at next council meeting. HB running activities way more hours than in lease, private biz, yada, yada….people should be asking after all these are tax dollars and low rent with AC and washer dryer….IMO residents should also have the ability to see the garden as it is a teaching garden but I think under lock and key by HB. Is this in the lease too? Time has come for residents to bottom line what the lease says and what is being done. Sorry, time to put everything under the microscope has arrived.
Also, this structure is just the structure cost for $350k and DOES NOT include the restroom. another cost added on top.
I think she is only allowed to be open 2 nights a week. Wonder if it is more. Neighbors should be monitoring and sending details to VM Keith. If Green Acres is so strict they have to follow the rules by the letter of the law, right?

with the delay in the new park bathroom til 25-26; the healthbarn will be the go to bathroom for all players and fans.
She doesn’t let anyone in the house even though it’s not all hers. Check the lease

Acttually this is the first time people are actually paying attn because it is a staggering figure which does not even include the bathrooms. It is supposed to be booked through Ridgewoods’ new system, so if that is the case, she will be held accountable for making sure that she pays to use it and that it isn’t always booked by HB and that residents can use it for picnics, parties, it is a public park for everyone.
not true ,but when neighbors complained in the past the Village had the Village engineer go after the complainers
^^^facts. Many neighbors were accounted by the engineer, the tenant, Ramon, Janet Fricke and Tim Cronin( in the beginning). Something shady goes on with that lease. The tenant opra’d all the neighbors e mails to the council and stalked them and took photos of them. Creeeepy.
That is super creepy. Is that winning through intimidation? and this person is working with children? Sounds very territorial and quite threatening maybe to scare residents away from a public open space, in my opinion.

There’s a lot of intimidation that goes on with Ridgewd volunteers in various groups.
It should also be available for anyone to relax in. Seniors to get relief from the sun. It doesn’t only have to be for parties. HB will use it even if she doesn’t sign up. She will say it was empty She will unload her buses there and let field trip use it. All while she is making $$ from anyone that steps foot in the park for a class.

Paul Vagianos did say that Nancy Bigos selected Habernickel as the winner of the new $340K pavillion and they were quick to level the current barn structure in order to make a case that the kiddies needed a shelter during bad weather. That being said, the barn was never used for this purpose so to say it is a replacement is not true. It may be the language they are going to use in their grant application for funding and they basically said that the determination was that it went by acreage and participation and Habernickel after Vets had the greater level of participation. Keith said the use of the house and property by Healthbarn is spelled out in their current lease and if there is any expansion of her lease, which the village attorney negotiated for the village, it would need to be renegotiated and approved by Green Acres. Not sure if Green Acres is currently aware of the current status of business being conducted and if any infractions have taken place, but if not there should be oversight because Ridgewood is not going to do that.
Wow. So basically the village is lying to green acres? Saying the barn was used by HB for shelter. And now they need to replace it. Isn’t that against the law to lie to the state and seek money from them?

I am sure it goes deeper than just HB and Habernickel if this is what our VM , parks and rec director and our Mayor are doing? Is this true? Are they lying or fabricating the truth for money?
They are a bunch of liars. Vagianos puppy campaign manager Keith was hired as village manager. What else do you expect.
Keith Kazshark is now controlling the Healthbarn lease. Not sure if it is available for public viewing but interesting that Vagianos allegedly benefitted from FTFL headed up by Hache and Anton and then they are the only park to be gifted a giant pavilion that will have a bathroom. Money is no object when you have friends in high places.
