  1. That’s a lot of damage for a 25 mph speed limit!

    1. 25+25=50

      1. Let’s make the speed limit 10mph
        Do I hear 5mph?

How about ban all cars, for they are evil
and we must protect the drivers who are unable to control their cars at speed.

        1. 42,195 deaths in motor vehicle crashes 2021
          24,576 murders in 2020
          58,220 US casualties Vietnam War
          2,456 US casualties Afghanistan

So 42K deaths per year is ok and you don’t see any need to try and reduce those numbers?

          1. Just stay in your bubble and quote facts.

You want to take away life to guarantee existence… bad logic.

            1. I have 3 friends mowed down and killed by drivers in the past 5 years. One was crossing the street after leaving a St Johns basketball game, hit by a fellow attendee in a rush to get home. One was hit by a driver making an illegal right turn on red in NYC who then left the scene of the collision. The last was riding his bicycle in the shoulder of a road when a driver, who had been told by his eye doctor to not drive anymore due to lack of eyesight, mowed him down and also left the scene. This is not an academic exercise. People with friends and families are dying every day .

        2. And Gas stoves because someone could be cooking their green eggs and ham, breath the fumes and get in their car and crash into someone head on.

  2. Any update on this. Injuries, DUI, who?
