  10. Don’t care, you’re not Running for the mayor. Because you don’t have the brains.

  11. They’re talking about bringing back street eating with tables, canopies and umbrellas, tents, so on. All this extra dining leads to filth in the street rodents what have you, and the garbage cans can’t handle it obviously we know that. If they suggest bringing back in the road, they are going to have to bring in the street sweepers. On weekends is a must. And of course you’ll see thumbs down because it cost money and maybe someone doesn’t wanna come in on a Saturday or Sunday to run a sweeper. I’m sure we’ll find someone that can run it. We can train them. You’re the one that knows.

    1. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves — first and foremost it is completely unnecessary. There is no demand for doing it in the road/street eating. None. They can set up all the tents they want and they will remain largely empty.

  12. Thumbs up all the way with regarding running a sweeper seven days a week, especially in the CBD. Oh yes, we the store owners, restaurant owners, demand the road speed spotless. We pay big rent. The building owners pay tax so we demand the service of someone who wants to put thumbs down well go tell the mayor that you like roads. And let’s see where that gets you
