Ridgewood NJ , Village of Ridgewood Mayor Ramon Hache, posted the following seeming to take credit from something he had nothing to do with :
FOOD DONATIONS TO VALLEY HOSPITAL
Thank you for the outpouring of support for Valley Health System during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many within the Village of Ridgewood have kindly volunteered to donate food to the nurses, physicians and other health care team members at Valley who have been tirelessly and selflessly fighting this battle against COVID-19.
Valley and I are working together to determine the most efficient and effective way to distribute nutritious meals to Valley staff, while also supporting the local vendors within our Village during this difficult time. Over the next several days, Valley and I will be sharing how you can support this effort. Until that time, please refrain from dropping off food at the hospital or calling the hospital with food deliveries. While we appreciate your good intentions, calls to the hospital are tying up critical resources needed elsewhere.
It is incredibly inspiring to witness the unity and solidarity of our community during this challenging time. Please stay healthy and continue to practice social distancing.
Ridgewood blog has learned from several sources and previously reported that Lisa of Lisa’s Mediterranean did all the work and arranged the entire food drive with the delivery help from patron Derek Michalski and was in fact spurned by several local Ridgewood restaurants and some are suggesting even the chamber of commerce . That is why on the second day Bar Louie at Garden State Plaza donated the food.
The Ridgewood Chamber and Mayor were not involved at all and now are attempting to take credit for something they have nothing to do with. The credit all goes to Lisa who set up the whole entire endeavor.

Compassion > Greed. That being said where there is compassion there will be greed. Perfect example right here with the people we voted into power. There’s not one photo of the mayor or a representative of the chamber amongst the people holding the pillars. Please, spare us the politics and just appreciate what kind hearts can do – regardless of position of power. . .

In our current times of stress, we can use a story that inspire us . Lisa Mayisoglu’s action of providing gourmet meals for health workers is commendable and should be example for everyone. Lisa came to this country as an immigrant with little money and now is a successful restaurant owner in Ridgewood, NJ
It is sad that instead of praising and supporting her for the good will, people want to take the credit for themselves.
Our do nothing Mayor should issue an official apology to Lisa. Be a man an apologize to the lady moron.

Do the right thing an apologize. Lisa is also an immigrant and you cannot bully Lisa. Majority of Ridgewood businesses don’t like you anyway so don’t make it more difficult for yourself. Do the right thing man.

Mayor has a political agenda, BERGEN County Freeholder. This Corona Virus pandemic is a massive teat for him right now.
What an utterly amazing job Lisa and her staff are doing for the community!! What a shame the mayor is trying to get the credit,
instead of helping in any way possible the town’s businesses. Politics again…
