Ridgewood NJ, in order to allow for greater vehicle turnover; to accommodate those attending the many activities and events held on weekdays at both the Village Hall and the Ridgewood Public Library; and to allow those using the walking paths and playground at Veterans Field to find parking spaces in the Village Hall/Library parking lot, new parking restrictions are now in effect.

Parking vehicles in the Village Hall/Library parking lot is limited, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to the following:
Employees of the Village of Ridgewood and the Ridgewood Public Library
Those conducting business at Village Hall
Those patronizing the Ridgewood Public Library
Those physically utilizing the walking path or playground at Veterans Field
All other vehicles should be parked in either the Graydon South parking lot (on the other side of Veterans Field), with an entrance off of Northern Parkway or at the Graydon Pool parking lot, also with an entrance off of Northern Parkway. When parking in the Graydon Pool parking lot, please use the crosswalk at Linwood Avenue and Northern Parkway, and activate the flashing pedestrian sign, by pushing the button
Time for another parking garage.
They really need to police the area for sports parents – there are plenty of signs that say don’t park there for sports. The leagues should make sure to push this out to all parents and opposing teams.
Same thing goes for North Irving, Warren Place and the PSEG Right-of-Way by Stevens field.
The Maroons Soccer club communicates with all opposing teams that parking for vets is on Northern Parkway. The NCSA League even publishes it:
VETERANS FIELD (VETS) #1 & #2 From Route 17 (North or South) take Linwood Avenue Exit and travel west. Turn LEFT onto Northern Parkway which is just before Graydon Pool (on RIGHT). Parking lot on RIGHT, cross over bridge to field. Do not park in Village Hall parking lot on the other side of the field.
RW once again making life more miserable for its residents and taxpayers.
There should be a formal public exit questionnaire web site
when long term homeowners sell and move away retire to lower tax towns states etc …Truth has value ..
