An embarrassingly weak response to a viral threat that sidelined 1/4 of RIdgewood’s police department in November. Who is responsible for such a fuck up?
And the fire department???
How many of them tested positive.
“Strongly recommended?!” What a joke.
And what are the odds our mayor honors this “recommendation?” Did she ever even get her second shot? We certainly didn’t hear much after that poor judgment Facebook photo…
Like they say do as I say, not as I do.
Masks do nothing for prevention of COVID!
Just heard there was a holiday party last week at Village Hall with 80 people present who didn’t have masks on?
Are you kidding me are they that stupid. Wow talk about not thinking. some people think it was over, well guess what now it’s roaring back. Some people feel that it’s nothing ,well I hope you don’t get it. We guess You really don’t care about your employees getting Covid. And it’s a double edge sword how some employees that tested positive we’re quarantine for 15 days, and they were not charge sick time. And others and other departments have been charged sick time. What the Hell is going on. It’s one rule across-the-board .not different rules for different departments. It’s amazing how they think they’re going to get away with this.they will not in the end.
Stupid is as stupid does.
80 people in Village hall ‘ all together not too smart.
Why would they do that.
Dumb dumb and dumber.
That stupid letter from heather was WEAK. Masks are recommended? They should be required. And what the fuck is it with December 27? Why not immediately?!?
“Why not immediately?”: because Village Hall will be closed until Monday.
We wonder how many village employees tested positive. And how many village employees are in quarantine.
And what is the plan if any individuals test positive. What is the protocol.
I’m sure the village manager is using all the experience she got from previous villages she managed when deciding how to lead village hall. I’m sure she had many years of experience in other towns before she landed such a plum job in Ridgewood.
Everyone should be treated the same regarding Covid. It’s amazing how they come up with different rules for different people. And then they wonder why they get in trouble. Then they wonder why morale is down to the gutter. So much toxicity.
Some of us just don’t understand why is there so much confusion regarding one individual test positive for Covid, the governor laid it out. The village cannot sets on settled rules and laws and override the state. The governor put in signed ordinances, legislation on record. Just amazing how some individuals think they can override the law. The mayor and council need to get on board and stop this nonsense they know what’s going on. The mayor and council need to get involved and make sure that the management is treating every individual the same, stop the favoritism. This is a civil service municipality and management needs to follow that law. Not a few departments go by civil service , and the rest run by regular Law . Guess what it doesn’t work like that, stop being sneaky. We’re not stupid.
In the past three days in New Jersey . I believe we had about 50,000 people test positive for Covid. Winter next week will see the numbers from Christmas.
