The owner was able to locate the car at Bergen Town Center, on Route 4 East and Forest Avenue, using a Mercedes Car Finder application. Bergen County Sheriff’s Officers went to the mall staked out the vehicle ,watched and waited for the suspect to return.
The suspect returned to the car and was placed under arrest without incident. The suspect was in possession of the victim’s keys and wallet at the time of the arrest.
Simple solution to stolen cars:
If the insurance companies refuse to pay for cars stolen with FOB or Keys inside, people will act responsibly.
I dont want my insurance rates to go up to subsidize these lazy folks
