  1. At least he’s got a plan

  2. Not so much a plan…but at least he’s exploring creative and less expensive solutions. He hit the nail on the head: the real problem is parking ambiguity, not parking availability. An empty garage on Hudson will still be Plan B to people circling from Oak to Chestnut to Broad in search of that prime spot right by there restaurant of choice, much like the muni lots are today. So why spend $12M on a solution for a problem that hasn’t been clearly articulated?

  3. ITS ALL MOOT IF THE BOND REFERENDUM PASSES.
    ************ VOTE NO ******************
A Yes vote will result in an immediate initiation of Parking Garage “D” by the outgoing council.
    ************ VOTE NO ******************
A No vote will let the new council decide on a REASONABLE sized garage and increases in parking spaces in the CBD other than just the extreme west end of Ridgewood Avenue CBD

  4. For those who don’t understand, the parking is for the benefit of developers who want 200+ apartments in Ridgewood and they need the
    extra parking spaces. Enough.
Did the Village people/council get the message that Ridgewood residents don’t want high density apartments and parking to support it in
    Ridgewood?
