Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Village Manager Keith Kazmark offered a BIG “THANK YOU” in a Facebook post to our LD 40 representatives, Republicans Senator Kristin Corrado, Assemblyman Chris DePhillips, and Assemblyman Al Barlas for their support in securing the $147,000 NJ Department of Transportation grant for the new bus shelter at Van Neste Square! The first discussion of this project occurred with the NJ DOT Commissioner in their District Office over a year ago and the funds are now in place to cover the cost. Also pictured Ridgewood Mayor Paul Vagianos, Deputy Mayor Pamela R. Perron, Councilmembers Siobhan Winograd and Frank Mortimer with Village Manager Keith Kazmark. Ridgewood NJ, exciting news reverberated through the Village of Ridgewood this Friday morning as the community, along with our esteemed Legislative team from District 40, gathered to announce a significant development in our ongoing efforts to enhance safety for our students. Senator Kristin Corrado, Assemblyman Chris DePhillips, and Assemblyman Al Barlas joined local officials including Mayor Paul Vagianos, Deputy Mayor Pamela Perron, Village Councilmember Siobhan Winograd, Chief of Police Forest ‘Cenzo’ Lyons and Village Manager Keith Kazkmark to unveil a $157,000-plus grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) in support of our Safe Routes to School initiative.
MIDLAND PARK NJ, Assemblyman Chris DePhillips decided to introduce a pension divestment bill earlier this week after hearing complaints from leaders within the New Jersey pharmaceutical industry.
“The outbreak has really become a wake-up call for the state and industry,” said DePhillips (R-Bergen). “New Jersey is supposed to be the medicine chest for the world, but China is in control of our pharmaceutical manufacturing. That must change.”
