Cliffside Park NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 24-year-old DETERRIEYNN T. LEWIS of Lithonia, GA, as well as charges filed against an 18-year-old man from DeKalb County, GA – who was a juvenile at the time of the offense – for an armed home invasion burglary incident. The arrest and charges are the result of a lengthy investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the Cliffside Park Police Department, under the direction of Chief Yakup Zoklu.

Two Bergen County Men Charged in Sexual Assault Investigation

CATALAN of Cliffside Park, NJ on charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child; and 20-year-old LUIS ROSAS of Ridgefield, NJ on charges of sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrests were the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck; the Cliffside Park Police Department, under the direction of Chief Yakup Zoklu; the Fairview Police Department, under the direction of Chief Vincent Bellucci; and the Ridgefield Police Department, under the direction of Chief Thomas J. Gallagher.

Bergen Bomb Squad Determines No Threat to Public Safety in Cliffside Park Bomb Threat

Cliffside Park NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces that the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Intelligence and Counterterrorism Unit and the Cliffside Park Police Department investigated a bomb threat that was reported at 12:41 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024, in the 500 block of Anderson Avenue in Cliffside Park. The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad responded and conducted a precautionary sweep. The area sweep and search by the BCSO’s Bomb Squad determined there were no threats to public safety. Residents were allowed to return to the area at approximately 5:30 p.m.
