Ridgewood NJ, on April 21st, bring your whole family – and your dog – to this fun, educational event! Enjoy goat yoga, a petting zoo, a “recycling magician,” live music by Blue Plate Special, educational displays and programs, demonstrations and crafts, and more. Leashed dogs and their owners are invited to dress in costume and join the popular Daffy Dog Parade at 12:30. Event runs from  11:00 – 2:30 pm. at Memorial Park at Van Neste Square .

Ridgewood NJ, the Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands and Green Ridgewood are pleased to once again host the “Daffodil Festival and Earth Day Fair” together on Sunday, April 23, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. This fun family event takes place in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square, located along East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ. The theme this year highlights the recent Master Plan and addresses areas of flood remediation, open space, and park possibilities, green building ideas, local health topics, our drinking water, trees, native plants, and new recycling concepts. It showcases the importance of sustainability and how the community should work together to promote the village becoming more sustainable and conscientious.

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Water’s Journey from Rain to Drain, Daffodil Festival & Earth Day Fair will take place Sunday, April 23 from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p. m  in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square. This is a free, fiun event for all ages!

Come join the celebration! There will be a plant sale, environmentally focused vendors and organizations, music and multiple activities for children including nature themed arts and crafts and educational displays.

The Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands and the Ridgewood Environmental Advisory Committee (REAC) in partnership with Ridgewood Water is hosting this year’s special event “From Rain to Drain”.

There will be food, educational programs and musical entertainment.

Ridgewood NJ, This year we will celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 17, 2016. Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands will join with REAC for a Daffodil Festival and Earth day celebration.The Ridgewood Environmental Advisory Committee and the Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands will be holding combined Earth Day and Daffodil Festival celebrations. Our theme is: “Butterflies, Bees, & Bats – Save Our Pollinators” Our community will hopefully be in full bloom with the 19,000 daffodil bulbs planted by the Conservancy.

We invite Ridgewood businesses to celebrate with us by highlighting their “green” practices. We will provide the public with environmentally focused vendors and organizations. Daffodil Festival – Art Show, Antique Cars, Plant Sale, Kids Crafts, Dog Parade- April 27th

Artists specializing in watercolors, acrylics, photography, oils, pen and ink and jewelry will exhibit their talents at a Fine Art Show and Sale set to be held in conjunction with the Daffodil Festival on Sunday, April 27th. This special event will be held at the Ridgewood Train Station and Plaza, between the hours of 12 noon and 3 pm. Artist will be displaying their works inside the plaza building as well as the area adjacent to facility, rain or shine.

Last fall, the Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands and volunteer residents of the Village purchased 7,000 daffodil bulbs as an enhancement and beautification project for the entire Village to enjoy. In celebration of the hard work and anticipated beauty, a Daffodil Festival is being planned. In addition to the Fine Art Show and Sale, additional activities include a 12:30PM ribbon cutting ceremony rededicating the renovation of the Broad Street gardens, a classic antique car show, a spring plant sale, a 1:00PM “Daffy Dog Parade”, children’s arts and craft projects and a variety of refreshments.

The mission of the Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands is to provide funding and support to restore and enhance the Village parklands in accordance with the Master Plan for development. Now, three years in existence, the Conservancy has fundraising and a few major projects accomplished. Please refer to the website www.cfrpl.org for further information or to become a member.

The Fine Art Show and Sale is co-sponsored by the Ridgewood Parks and Recreation Department and the Conservancy.
